SCHEDULE: Friday – GOLD ONE HOUR ASSEMBLY schedule @ Auditorium

TODAY'S ATHLETICS/ACTIVITIES:

JV & V softball vs. Churchill @MHS, 5:00pm
V baseball @ Churchill, 5:00pm

It is mandatory for the entire staff and student body to attend Friday's assembly in the auditorium.  We are set to have an hour long assembly 

REMINDERS Please remind students to bring their raffle tickets to Friday's assembly.  THEY MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.  Each student MUST write their name on the raffle tickets and place them in a container as they arrive to Friday's assembly. Costume winners will also be announced on Friday.
Representatives from a four year college, community college, private college, training schools and the military will be here. Students will visit two of the five during this assembly.

Club VB practice @ main and west gyms, 9-Noon
Girls tennis @ Hidden Valley, 10:00am
JV baseball vs Churchill @ MHS, Noon
Prefontaine track meet @ MHS, starts 10:00am

Sunday
Football Banquet for Seniors, Juniors and FB lettermen @ Watson Ranch,
6:00pm….Seniors need to bring their fathers to this banquet!
Hershey track meet @ Prefontaine track, starts 10:00am

Student Announcements Pirate chess team members Shawn Hutchinson, Roth Riley, and Michael Stephens have qualified for the Oregon Scholastic Chess Federation championship in Seaside this weekend. Michael is looking to defend the State championship he won as an 8th grader last year, and Shawn and Roth are looking to have a major impact at the State level. Good luck guys! (Stephens)

ATTENTION SENIORS:

Any senior interested in speaking at the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2010 can pick up an information sheet in Mr. Parrish's room, #240 of the main building. Tryout date for speakers will be Wednesday, April 28, after school in room 240. (Mr. Clark, Mr. Eberwein, Mr. Parrish)

SENIORS that applied for a local MHS Scholarship:  Scholarship awards will be given at the Senior Scholarship Assembly on May 26th and a few will be given at the Senior Awards Dessert on June 2nd.  If you are a recipient of a scholarship you will receive a letter in the mail indicating that you need to attend the assembly or dessert.  You will NOT be told ahead of time what you are receiving. (Bunnell thru 4/23)

SENIORS: If you owe fees, a print-out was included with your report card this week. It is important you see Mrs. Harrington in the main office to pay those fees or see her if you have any questions about them. Unpaid fees will result in seniors not receiving their diploma at graduation.
