These boys will be working hard to raise money for local charities and end with a pageant in April.  Stay tuned for upcoming fundraising events.

STUDENTS:  We are taking a rooters bus to Springfield on Friday for our last league football game at Thurston High School.  If we win we will make a playoff spot the following week.  We want and need your support at this game.  So far we have 19 students signed up and this trip comes with an added bonus.  The cost is $10 which includes the ride, a ticket to the game and the added special is free entrance to the volleyball playoff game the next day at Marshfield.  Come to the Athletic Office to sign up for the rooters bus.  So come help The Pirates make The Colts “walk the plank!”

STUDENTS:  We have an OSAA playoff volleyball game scheduled for this Saturday afternoon at Marshfield.  The team we will compete against and the game time are yet to be determined.  We will have that information by Thursday.  This is a playoff game and all students and adults will have to pay to get in the door.  The entrance fee is $4 for students and $6 for adults.  Also we are scheduling the game early enough so you can still attend the Sadie Hawkins dance.  It looks like this will be a weekend full of lots of excitement.  Hope to see you at our volleyball game!!!!  GO LADY PIRATES!  (Details of the game time and opponent will be in Friday’s announcements).

"Students and Staff: It is time to put together Christmas Shoe Boxes again!  Please remember to bring your items for the shoe boxes to your advisory class. Children suffering from war and natural disasters really appreciate receiving these shoe box gifts. The advisory that brings in the most items will win ice cream!  Some things you can bring in are: small toy cars and trucks, small stuffed animals or dolls, yo yo's, flashlights with batteries, hard candy & sugar free gum, See your advisor for more gift ideas. Deadline is November 20th!"

"See's Candy bars for Sale!  There are four kinds: Milk chocolate, toffee nugget, dark chocolate with almonds, and milk chocolate with almonds. They are so good! Only $1.50 each. You can buy from Yahweh's Daughters or in PH 600. Get yours while they last!"

Applications are now availably for the Miss Coos County Scholarship Program. If you are a senior girl age 17 or older you should look into this fun and rewarding program. Applications are available in student services.

The Sadie Hawkins dance is this weekend….  Have you wondered what exactly is a Sadie Hawkins dance?

This is where the girls get to ask the boys to a dance instead of waiting for the guys to ask!  So girls – it’s Ladies Choice.  The Dance is November 1st at the Harding, from 8pm-10pm.  $15/couples  $10/singles.  Tickets will be on sale the week before.  You may get guest passes through the Dean’s Office.
