Boys and Girls Club will be CLOSED on Friday

-------------------

Thursday and Friday of this week we will be voting to name the MHS coffee shop.  On Thursday, starting at 7:30am in front of the main office, a table will be set up with voting ballots.  There will be two columns of potential coffee shop names to choose from.  In the first column circle one “main” name.  In the second column circle an “ending” name (for example, Buccaneer Brew).   On Friday at 7:30am in the same place, the final voting will take place.  After calculating ballots and narrowing the names down to three, you will be asked to vote for the final name.  The coffee shop name will be announced at 2:30pm on Friday.  If you would like to work in the coffee shop next year, please pick up an application from Mrs. Gulseth in room 120.  No experience is necessary, but you do need to be 16 years of age.

------------

STUDENTS:  All student lockers must be cleaned out by 4:00 on June 16.  Custodial crews will begin summer cleanup on June 17.  All items left in lockers will be removed and discarded.  (Mr. Mulkey)

An AED cabinet has been placed on the wall near the main office.  An AED is a heart defibrillator used in CPR by trained individuals.  The cabinet is left unlocked to assist in timely retrieval during emergency situations.  But, the cabinet will sound an alarm once opened and there is a camera on the AED cabinet.  Please help us to keep this important piece of equipment safe and secure.  There will be major consequences if anyone attempts to remove or damage this medical equipment

STUDENTS:  Students planning to test for their Oregon driving permit during the summer should pick up the required DMV enrollment form from the principal’s office before June 15.  The school will be closed  in June and July and no one will be available at school to provide one.              (Mr. Mulkey)
