Reading Books
Want to party? Want to get something cool?
Then take your reading book to advisory this year. Advisors will be keeping track of how many people are bringing the books and the winners have been promised something “not good for you” by Mr. Howard.
The recycling crew at MHS would like to remind everyone that the large green bins in the hallways are for recycling and not for garbage.
PARKING: The results of the Student parking lottery drawing are posted in the window of the Main office. Please check in with Mrs. Ice as soon as possible to let her know if you are going to be taking these parking assignments.
National Honor Society will hold its first meeting of the year on Thursday in Mrs. Danielson's room - Pirate Hall 504. Bring your lunch. The meeting will start 5 minutes after the bell rings.

Room change! Indian Ed Before-school Tutoring/Study Hall will be from 7:15-8:15 in room 131, next to Student Services. Need a few minutes to finish your homework before the library opens? Need help with your assignment? Come on in! Also available from 3:15 to 3:45 after school.
REMINDER: If you plan to attend after school events and/or games, you MUST HAVE your school ID with you. If you purchased the $10 ASB sticker for your card, you are admitted free to home games. If you forget your card, or haven't paid for the ASB sticker, the cost is $3 to get in. You must get in the habit of carrying your school ID with you or be prepared to pay for attending events. School Store:
The School Store will not be open until Monday, September 15th. Stay tuned for more information regarding the changes coming to the menu and clothing sold in the school store. 9/12
Talent Search:
Talent Search Seniors who plan on taking the October, 4th, 2008, SAT Test needs to come to room 137 to complete the fee waiver. Try to get this done by no later than Friday, September 12th.
